I think the tastees loose meat sandwiches here are better then at miles inn... Yeah I said it, whatcha gonna do? Lol

Not knowing what a “loose meat sandwich” is, we were still wanting to try this Sioux City staple that has that wonderfully authentic old school vibe and is ALWAYS busy. I would describe it as an un-patty hamburger, complete with a pickle and mustard. Onion chips are tender but crisp and mellow in flavor (and I’m not an onion ring fan). How’d they get the name? You’ll know after one bite when you say aloud - “that’s tasty”.

They have Google Pay!!! Food that throws me way back to splitting in the green and white Jimmy on a hot summer evening sticking to the vinyl seats. I will say that the food was saltier theè

I would get a Tastee growing up as a kid when I came up to Sioux City to visit my grandparents. I live in another state & it’s quite a drive. I haven’t been back to Sioux City in 5 years since my grandparents passed. I recently came back up this past weekend though, and knew I needed to stop in. The Tastee was just as good, if not better, than I remembered! It definitely brought back memories. If you have never tried a Tastee before, you need to. Also, their cheeseballs are a 10/10

Delicious and fast! Friendly service. Feels a little like when I was younger!

I made the 85 Mile drive to Sioux City to specifically take my Mother here for Mother's Day. She's constantly telling me how long it's been since she had a Maid Rite sandwhich so I planned this trip to get her here. Everything we tried was great and she told me the sandwhich tastes exactly like she remembers. Mission Accomplished 5 stars for Tastee's.

Coming from CA we knew 'inn n out' differently, but oh boy these sandwiches were delicious! My only issue is that I didn't get two! This will definitely be a regular spot the family goes to

Greatest loose-meat sandwich & onion chips on earth. Sue City is the last bastion of a once proud regional food movement. Go there every week and spend your vacation dollars.
